. . .

• The funeral of 21-year-old Wesley D. Harder of Halstead, who was shot fatally Thursday evening near Kingman, was conducted Monday afternoon at the Emmaus Mennonite Church near Whitewater, with Rev. L. R. Amstutz in charge. Harder went to the Herbert E. Boydston home east of Kingman to visit his estranged wife, Ruby, sister of Mrs. Boydston, who was staying temporarily at the Bodyston home. An argument ensued, resulting in the fatal shooting. Mr Boydston has been charged with second degree murder. The young man leaves his widow and a son, Wesley E. Jr.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Harder of rural Peabody; and a sister, Mrs. Marvin Kaufman of Kansas City, Mo.
