BURNS SUFFERED IN FARM FIRE PROVE FATAL TO INDIANA WOMAN
Nappanee, Ind. — Second and third degree burns suffered Aug. 6 when a kerosene stove exploded at her farm home proved fatal to Mrs. Sarah J. Borkholder, 56, on Aug. 26. She had been a patient at the Bremen hospital since the fire, which destroyed her large farm house.
Mrs. Borkholder was a member of the Old Order Amish church here, and the funeral was held Aug. 28 at the Peter A. Borkholder residence. Survivors include eight sons, four daughters, and 26 grandchildren.
