Funeral Held For Review Correspondent

Dalton, Ohio. — Mrs. Peter J. Amstutz, 87, a life-long resident of this community, died Sept. 7. Funeral services were held at the Kidron Mennonite church on Sept. 10.

A former correspondent for several periodicals, including the Mennonite Weekly Review, she was the last living member of the Abraham Schneck family.

She was born here in 1872 and in 1890 she was baptized by Bishop Jacob Nussbaum, becoming a member of the Sonnenberg Mennonite church. In 1895 she was married to Peter J. Amstutz, who preceded her in death 58 years later.

Surviving are three sons, Paul N. and Ira of Orrville and H. Clair of Goshen, Ind.; five daughters, Mrs. Grover Gerber, Mrs. Levi Nussbaum and Mrs. Ivan Zuercher of Orrville and Mrs. Amos J. Nussbaum and Mrs. George C. Amstutz of Dalton; 40 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren.
