Mt. Lake Business Man Dies of Heart Attack

Mt. Lake, Minn. — A heart attack suffered at his home here Dec. 19 proved fatal to Clarence Harder, 47, well known Mt. Lake business man. He had not been ill, but had been treated for hypertension about a year ago.

A lifelong resident of this community, Mr. Harder was the local bulk agent for Standard Oil Co. and had operated Harder Standard Service for the past 14 years. He was just completing a new service station, and the opening was planned for early in 1963.

Survivors include his wife, Irma, and two daughters, Becky, 10, and Marlene, 7; one sister Marie, and one brother Jake all of Mt. Lake.

Funeral services were announced for Saturday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church, of which he was member.
