• Rev. Lester Wuthrich, 52, former General Conference missionary in the Far East and since 1950 a minister and missionary at Emaline, Ky., died Monday at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital. Rev. and Mrs. Wuthrich had been spending a leave in their home community of Whitewater because of his health. He suffered a heart attack Sunday evening after giving a message at the Swiss Mennonite Church in Whitewater and was brought to the hospital here by ambulance. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Swiss Church, of which he was a member, with Rev. Arnold Ensz in charge. Surviving in addition to his widow, the former Agnes Harder, are his mother, Mrs. Fred Wuthrich of Whitewater, three sisters and three brothers.
