A widely known Manitoba judge, John E. Adamson, died in Winnipeg shortly before Christmas, at the age of 77. Judge Adamson had extensive dealings with Mennonites of the province during the war years of 1940-45, mainly in connection with the alternative service program for conscientious objectors.
