— An attack of polio suffered in August 1951 proved fatal to Preston Wayne Unruh, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Verne Unruh, who died Saturday, July 11, at the home east of Newton. Funeral services were held at the Assembly of God church here Wednesday afternoon. The youth had been paralyzed and confined to bed ever since the onset of the illness. Besides the parents, he is survived by the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Unruh of Newton and A. L. Foster of Whitewater.
