Pioneer Business Man Dies

Berne, Ind. — Abraham A. Lehman, who helped to establish several Berne manufacturing concerns and businesses, died at his home here Oct. 26 at the age of 90.

A native of this community, he helped to found the Berne Manufacturing Company and was employed there as a foreman for a number of years before his retirement. He also helped organize the Berne Furniture Company and other businesses here.

Funeral services were conducted Oct. 28 at the First Mennonite Church, where he taught a Sunday school class for over 60 years. In recent years Mr. Lehman had written more than 200 poems.
