JOHN HARRISON
John Harrison of Pierceland, Saskatche wan, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Vasile Harasim in August, 1894 in Bukovina, then a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The amily moved to Alberta, Canada when he was four years old, and here he spent his hildhood and youth. He married Annie Ihantuik on June 22, 1924 and they settled on a homestead in Pierceland. Here they shared joys and sor ows until the Lord took Mrs. Harrison home n 1956. Mr. Harrison was also pre-deceased by an infant daughter, Rosie, and his eldest daughter, Mary (Mrs. Bob) Meeker. He acknowledged Christ as his personal Saviour and was a member of the Pierceland Mennonite Brethren Church. He loved his ive sons and three daughters and prayed much for them. On November 21 the Lord ook him to eternal glory. A funeral service was held on November 25, at which Isaac Sawatsky officiated and Steve Simpson, a on-in-law, spoke. Mr. Harrison leaves to mourn his sons, Mertin, George, and John of Pierceland, Mike, a missionary at Casbas, Argentina, and Bill of Dysart, Saskatchewan; his daugh ers, Pearl (Mrs. AI) Wilton of Pierceland.
