— Jacob Unruh of Hillsboro passed away last Sunday night after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Friday morning in the Friedenstal Church, of which he was a member. Among the close relatives surviving is a daughter, Selma Unruh, missionary in the Congo.

— Funeral services for Jacob H. Unruh, 76, retired farmer of Hillsboro, were held Friday, March 17, at the Friedenstal church west of Tampa, Rev. Harvey Jantz officiating assisted by Rev. Peter Letkeman. Mr. Unruh farmed northwest of Durham for many years. Surviving are his widow; eight children, of whom a daughter, Selma, served as a missionary in the Congo; three sisters and three brothers. A brother, Ben Unruh, lives in Newton.
