Obituary from Find A Grave:

The Arizona Daily Star, Tucson, August 9, 2009--
Mary Martha Baumgartner, 69, of Tucson, peacefully entered her Heavenly home as she was surrounded by loved ones, on August 2, 2009, after a brave battle with cancer. Mary was born in Hotevilla, AZ on the Hopi Indian reservation on August 12, 1939 and adopted by missionary, Mary Schirmer, who later became Baumgartner. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Abel and Mary Baumgartner; her twin sister, Martha; brothers, John, Daniel and Paul Schirmer. She is survived by a half-sister, Gladyne Becker, 102 years old of Glendale, AZ; many cousins, nieces and nephews from Alaska, Arizona, Kansas, Ohio and Texas; as well as many life long friends whom she cherished. She also left her most precious little friends, Augustine (Augie), Felena and Helena Gonzales. She moved from California in 1957, finished high school, business college, worked and retired after 35 years with the Tucson Pima Public Library. She was active in the Retirees group. Mary was a member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church and choir for many years. She traveled extensively throughout the country as well as abroad and enjoyed life with many of her friends and relatives. Mary was a treasure to all those who knew her and will be greatly missed. We give thanks to Odyssey Hospice for their love and care. A Memorial Service in celebration of her life will be held at 200 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2450 E. Ft. Lowell Rd., Tucson. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary Baumgartner may be made to the Hopi Mission School, P.O. Box 39, Kykotsmovi, AZ 86039. Arrangements entrusted to DESERT SUNSET FUNERAL HOME (297-9007).
