— Mrs. Mary Kroeker, 74, a native of the Goessel community and widow of Jacob Kroeker, died unexpectedly at the home on West First Street Monday morning. Funeral services are to be held at the Newton Bible church Thursday afternoon, Rev. James F. Conway officiating, followed by burial at the Tabor Church cemetery north of Newton. Among the six surviving children is a son, Waldo H. of Newton. Also residing in this area are two brothers, Gustav Becker of Newton and Julius Becker of Walton; three sisters, Mrs. John Peters and Mrs. Jake Wiebe of Newton, and Mrs.Alvin Dalke of Goessel; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Rheinhold Becker of Newton.
