Fatally Hurt In Football Game

Elida, Ohio. — Funeral services were held at the Salem Mennonite church near here Oct. 19 for Roger Eugene Kraft, 15-year-old Elida youth who received fatal injuries while taking part in the Elida-Pandora high school football game at Pandora the evening of Oct. 16.

The young man, who played guard, participated in the entire game until the latter part of the contest when he was injured. He died en route to St. Rita's hospital in Lima. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage.

The young man was a member of the Salem congregation. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. John Allen; three sisters, four brothers, one half-sister, and one half-brother; and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Paxsen.
