MARGARET QUIRING


(Mrs.) Margaret Quiring was born March 3, 1884 to Henry and Minnie Classen in Friedrichsthal, South Russia. She immigrated to Canada with her parents. Upon her confession of faith in Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour she was baptized in July of 1901 in Winkler, Manitoba.

She married John Quiring on November 5, 1910 at Landes, Saskatchewan. To this union were born their children: John of Burnaby , B.C.; Elmer of Aldergrovc, B.C.; Norman of Toronto; Mrs. Edward (Esther) Dirks of Vancouver; Mrs. Cornie (Betty) Peters of Toronto; Mrs. Henry (Olga) Funk of Clearbrook, B.C., and one daughter Minnie who preceded her in death.

She spent the last years of her life in the Menno Horne of Abbotsford, B.C. and was called horne to be with the Lord on September 17, having reached the age of 90.
