text of obituary:

ELSIE ISAAC

(Mrs.) Elsie Isaac (nee Warkentin) was born January 4, 1924 in Ufa, Russia. The family emigrated to Mexico, and from there to Canada, living in Winkler, Man. and Gem, Alta., and in 1946, moving to the Fraser Valley, B.C. She found the Lord as her Saviour in her younger years, was baptized and joined the Gem Mennonite Brethren Church.

She chose teaching as her profession, and taught in various schools. For 18 years she served as teacher and principal in a small school on Bradner Road, Abbotsford, B.C.

She was strongly mission-minded, supporting missionaries with her money, prayers and letters.

She passed away suddenly, and is survived by her husband, Abe C. Isaac; her parents, the G. P. Warkentins of Clearbrook; six brothers and two sisters and their families; her husband's five children and their families; and many other relatives and friends.
