CLETUS Y. KING

Cletus Yoder King, son of Levi and Salome (Yoder) King was born April 15, 1894, near Belleville, Pa., and departed this life Jan. 13, 1959, age 64 years, eight months, and 28 days. His passing was due to a heart ailment.

In his youth he accepted Christ as his personal Saviour, uniting with the Maple Grove Mennonite Church and remaining a faithful lifetime member. He was always interested in the work of the Church, and deeply concerned in the spiritual welfare of his family.

On Jan. 19, 1919, he was united in marriage to Mary L. Yoder. To this union were born four sons: Mark S. of Belleville, Calvin J. of East Amherst, New York, John L. of Belleville, and Floyd R. at home.

He is survived by the widow, four sons, two sisters, Sarah and Phoebe King of Belleville, seven grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.

He gained a livlihood [sic] by farming, retiring from this occupation four years ago due to a health condition.

Brief services at the home were in charge of Aaron Mast, followed by services at the Maple Grove church with Waldo E. Miller, pastor, Erie Renno and Aaron Mast officiating.
