Death Claims Two Retired Businessmen

Pandora, Ohio. — Two aged businessmen of this community, living in retirement, were called away in death Feb. 27 and 28.

On Friday David Lugibihl, 72, retired farmer and lumber dealer, died at Lima Memorial hospital after an illness of three weeks. He had farmed in Allen county for many years, and moved to Pandora in 1936.

Surviving are his wife, the former Hattie Amstutz, one daughter and two sons, seven grandchildren, three sisters and one brother.

He was a member of the Ebenezer Mennonite church near Bluffton. Funeral services were conducted at the Grace Mennonite church by Rev. Ernest Bohn and Rev. Walter Lugibihl of Ft. Wayne, Ind.

Abraham L. Sutter, 88, died at Bluffton Community hospital on Saturday. He served as Pandora postmaster for a time in the 90’s and was a hardware merchant for 63 years. Funeral services were held at the St. John Mennonite church.

He leaves nine children, 33 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and two brothers, John of Sarasota, Fla. and Joe of Moundridge, Kans.
