MRS. EDITH V. SWARTZ

Mrs. Edith Viola Swartz was born May 13, 1897, to Mr. and Mrs. Ben H. Boese at Avon, So. Dak.

In 1907 the family moved to the community south of Vona, Colo. At the age of 15 she was baptized and became a member of the Mennonite church south of Vona.

A great part of her life was spent in public service. She was employed for eight years by the U. S. National Bank of Denver, Colo. and also worked for many years in local banks.

She was married to Fred Swartz on Feb. 22, 1938. They took up farming and stock raising. A number of years later they moved to Stratton, Colo. and lived there until 1952. Then they moved to Loveland, Colo. where they lived in their new home.

Mrs. Swartz's illness was of short duration. She passed away Aug. 27, 1958, age 61 years.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p. m. Aug. 29 at the Kibby Funeral Home in Loveland by Rev. E. C. Graunberger. Interment was made in Loveland Burial Park.

Mrs. Swartz is survived by her husband, her mother, two brothers, other relatives and a host of friends.
