text of obituary:

HENRY H. ENSZ

Henry H. Ensz was born at McClain, Kansas on August 4, 1895, to Gerhard and Marie (Matthies) Ensz. He attended public school at Newton, Kansas and Beatrice, Neb. and also received training at the Mennonite Parochial School.

He received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized on the confession of his faith on May 3, 1914. At that time he became a member of the First Mennonite Church of Beatrice. On April 1, 1934, he joined the Beatrice Mennonite Church where he was a member at the time of his passing.

He was joined in marriage to Marie Epp on April 5, 1934, and he and his wife became the parents of three daughters: Rachel Elizabeth, Harriet Anna, and Edith Kathleen. His wife and children will miss their dear companion greatly, but trust confidently in the assurance that God will care for them.

Mr. Ensz was a farmer by occupation until he moved to Beatrice in February of 1954. His health has been impaired during the past several years. He passed away suddenly and peacefully on March 8, 1958.

Besides his immediate family he is survived by several brothers and sisters: Mrs. Helen Jantzen, Plymouth, Neb.; Mrs. Anna Jantzen, Plymouth; Gerhard B. Ensz, Mrs. Justine Jantzen, Bernhard M. Ensz, Gustav W. Ensz, and Mrs. Abram Epp, all of Beatrice. Four sisters preceded him in death.
