— Peter C. Andres, 63, well-known retired farmer of Newton, died early Monday at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. J. E. Entz in charge of a brief service at the home in Newton, followed by services at the First Mennonite Church in charge of Rev. Arnold Epp. Mr. Andres was a lifelong resident of Harvey County, moving to Newton from the farm in 1950. Surviving are the widow, who was Minnie Suderman; two sons, Walter K. of Route 5, Newton, and Harold K. of Route 3, Newton; four sisters, Mrs. G. P. Regier of Route 3, Mrs. B. C. Regier, Elizabeth Andres and Katie Andres, all of Newton; one brother, Herman J. Andres of Newton; and seven grandchildren.
