— Herb H. Kaufman, 55, director of the Kaufman Funeral Home at Halstead, died at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital here Tuesday evening, Jan. 14. He had been confined to the hospital for several weeks due to a heart ailment. Surviving are his wife, the former Eleanor Figge, one son, two daughters, four brothers and four sisters. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church of Halstead, of which he was a member.
