Birth date: 1906

text of obituary:

. . .

— Another fatal accident occurred here soon after midnight Sunday when a California car was struck head-on by a Newton driver on Highway 61 near the south city limits. Mrs. Ella Mae Huskey, 46, of Orland, Calif, died soon after the accident. Injured were her three children and a women [sic] passenger, and three young people in the Newton car, all of whom were treated at Bethel hospital. The driver of the local car, is being held here on a number of charges, including drunken driving. An unusual sidelight was the strong premonition of tragedy experienced by the 17 year old son of Mrs. Huskey as much as two hours before the accident. He had his mother stop the car several times to check it over. The father, who was not with the family, is a minister of the Church of God. The group had paused for prayer at a local filling station only minutes before the accident.
