— Mrs. Lina Guentert, 80, a resident of Newton for 49 years, died Monday evening at the family home at 901 East 6th street. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Mennonite church, of which she was a member. Rev. J. E. Entz, pastor emeritus of the church, will be in charge. Mrs. Guentert was born on March 28, 1877, at Basel, Switzerland, the daughter of Christian and Rosalie Roth. Surviving are her husband, Bertold Guentert, two daughters, Mrs. Gus Ensz of Newton and Mrs. Alfred Woods of Wichita; two sons, Edwin of Tulsa, Okla., and Richard of Tulsa, Okla., and Richard of Wichita; two sisters and a brother in Switzerland and a sister in Wisconsin; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
