BELLEVILLE, PENNA. CARPENTER KILLED IN HIGHWAY ACCIDENT

Belleville, Pa. — A three-car collision on Highway 76 near here Friday, April 19, resulted in almost instant death for Joseph S. Yoder, 55, well-known Belleville carpenter. He was a member of the Maple Grove Mennonite Church.

Mr. Yoder was en route to work when a motorist coming from the opposite direction, attempting to pass a third vehicle, struck his car head on. The Yoder car was then stuck by a driver who had been following him. Foggy conditions were blamed for the tragedy.

Survivors include his wife, the former Lina Kauffman, and one sister, Mrs. Noah L. Peachey of Allensville.
