— Gerhard F. Busenitz, 68, well known farmer of Route 5, Newton, died of a heart attack Monday afternoon a short time after being admitted to the Halstead Hospital. Funeral services are announced for Thursday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church of Newton, Rev. Arnold Epp and Rev. J. E. Entz officiating. A native of Germany, Mr. Busenitz had farmed southeast of Newton since 1912. Surviving are his wife, who was Marie Suderman; three sons, Gerhard A., Alfred and Karl, all of Route 5; a daughter Anna Marie of the home; and one brother, William, also of Route 5.
