MRS. AGATHA WITTENBERG

Agatha Wittenberg was born August 28, 1882 to Peter and Katharina Warkentin in Lichtenau, Molotschna, South Russia. She married Jacob Wittenberg in 1903, and they came to Yarrow, B. C. in 1929. In 1942 she was baptized and received in the Mennonite Brethren Church of Yarrow. She died December 8, at the age of 91.

The funeral was held in the Yarrow MB Church on December 11. Rev. John Klassen and Rev. P. D. Loewen officiated. Predceased by her husband Jacob Abram Witteberg in 1942 and a daughter Kay Schmidt- bauer in 1972, she leaves to mourn two sons, Jack of Yarrow and Abram (Johnny) of Vancouver and their wives, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
