MRS. HELENA KORNELSON

Helena Kornelson was born April 10, 1892 in the Crimea, Russia, to Peter and Elisabeth Brown. She was baptized and accepted into the Mennonite Brethren Church in September 1922. In 1912 she married Jacob Hildebrand. He died and in 1923 she married Theodar Kornelsen. They came to Canada in 1926, moving to Coaldale in 1931.

She died December 16, at the age of 81 years. John J. Dueck officiated at the funeral, held in the Coaldale MB Church December 20. She was predeceased by her husband Theodar in 1970. She leaves to mourn her children: Mrs. Elisabeth Pauls, Matsqui, B.C.; Waldemar Kornelsen, Regina; Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Thiessen, Edmonton; Mrs. Erika Lobe, Edmonton; and Mrs. Walter (Helga) Maier, Schwyler, Alta.
