FORMER CHILDREN'S HOME WORKER DIED AT HARPER, KANSAS, AGE 94

Harper, Kan. — Memorial services were conducted Monday at the Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church for Henry E. Horst, 94, who died here April 20 at the home of a niece, Mrs. Mary Kuhns. The body was sent to Des Moines, Iowa for final services and burial at the Brethren in Christ church.

A native of Hagerstown, Md. he farmed near Newton, Kan. as a young man. For a number of years he and his wife served in children's homes at Tabor, Iowa and Thomas, Okla., and both became members of the Brethren in Christ Church.

At the service here Rev. Ray Witter of Navarre, Kan., preached the sermon.
