JACOB J. SIEMENS

Jacob J. Siemens was born in Chevroran, Russia, in 1899. He immigrated to Canada with his parents in 1904 where they homesteaded in Main Centre, Sask. After one year in the Herbert Bible School, he was baptized and became a member of the Main Centre MB Church in 1919.

Jacob married Anna Voth in 1923, and their marriage was blessed with 2 daughters and 3 sons. As an active member of the church, the missions program was always of great importance to him.

He died on May 3D, 1973, in the Swift Current Hospital. Those mourning his death are his wife, 2 daughters, 3 sons, their families, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services were held in the Herbert MB Church on June 2 with Rev. Herman Voth of Aldergrove, BC, officiating.
