— Funeral services were held at the Pennsylvania Mennonite church near Hesston last week for Miss Elizabeth B. Longenecker, who died at the Mercy hospital, Moundridge, on Sunday, June 15, at the age of 73. She was born at Elizabethtown, Pa., but had spent much of her life in the Holton, Kans. and Hesston communities. In early life she served in several Mennonite institutions, including the West Liberty, Ohio children’s home. Mennonite children’s home at Kansas' City, Kans., and the Mennonite Sanitarium at La Junta, Colo. She is survived by six sisters and two brothers. A sister, Mrs. Ira Hamilton, resides in Newton.
