LEADER IN MISSION PROJECT, DISASTER WORK DIED OF HEART ATTACK

Nappanee, Ind. — Funeral services were conducted at the North Main Street Mennonite Church here for Gordon Stichter, 51, of Bremen, who died suddenly of a heart attack there on Sept. 8.

Bro. Stichter was chairman of the board of Camp Rehoboth, mission and service project for negroes at St. Anne, Ill., and was active in disaster service work. He was under appointment to go to Puerto Rico to direct hurricane reconstruction work there.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters and five sons, one of whom is serving in Puerto Rico.
