PETER P. MARTENS

Peter Martens was born in Ruckenau, Molotschna, in 1882. He was born again in 1900 and baptized the same year. In 1903 he martie,d Helena Wi eler and 4 sons and 4 daughters were born 'from the union. In 1925 th ey m oved to Coalda le, Alb erta and later to Yarrow, B.C., where th ey celebrat ed th eir gold en and diamond w edd ing ann ive rsa ries . Atfter spending a yea r in Tabor Home, he w ent to be with th e Lord on ·October 1. He was 90 years o'id. He leaves to mourn his eight children and th eir families, as w e,ll as many fri en·ds and relatives. He was predeceased by his wife in 1971 . Fun eral serv ices w ere held in th e Yarrow MB Church.
