ISAAC WIEBE

Isaac Wiebe was the son of Isaac and Helen Wiebe (nee Hiebert) . He was born in 1898 in Grunfeld, Russia. Here he also enjoyed his childhood and youth and received Christian training in home and school. He accepted the Lord Jesus Chris,t as his persona'i Saviour and was bap,tized in the spring of 1924. On May 31 st, 1924 he was ma rried to Miss Helena HHdebrand wi,th whom he lived to share joys and sorrows for 46 years unto the day of 'her decease. Six weeks after their marriage th ey migrated to Canada and arrived in Herbert, Saskatchewan. They moved to Winkler, Manitoba the fol'lowing spring an,d finally seN,led in Kronsgart where they fellowshipped for 18 years. The family moved to ,B:C. in 1946 and after a few years in Yarrow they relocated in Vancouver where they enjoyed family life and fellowship of the saints for another 18 years. In 1966 'he had a minor heart attack from which he' recovered. In 1967 they retired and moved to Clearbrook, where he lived un~il October 14, 1972. He suffered a heart attack and passed into the presence of his tord. He was predeceased by his wi'fe, 'Helen on May 26, 1970 and one son Peter and his wife Elvira and two daughters Betty and her huslband Henry Penner and Lena and her husband David Abrahams and six grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Mary K'iassen o'f 'Vancouver and Mrs. Susan Penner of 'Paraguay, South America . We do not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe ,that Jesus died and rose again, even so through Jesus, God will bring with him those who

have fallen asleep.
