SUSANA BRAUN

Susana Braun of Calgary, Alberta, died on June 5, of heart failure, at the age of 80.

She was born Susana Geddert, in 1891, South Russia. In 1917 she was married to Johann F. Braun, with whom she shared joys and sorrows for 54 years.

After coming to Canada in 1927, they farmed at Hussar and later in Gem, retiring to Calgary in 1958. In her adult years she accepted Christ as Saviour and later joined the MB Church in Gem.

She leaves to mourn her husband, two daughters - Mrs. Kathrine Klassen and Miss Anne Braun of Calgary; three sons - John of Medicine Hat, Frank and Dirk of Gem, 16 grandchilldren and one brother in Brazil.

She was concerned about her family and her prayers will continue to go with them .

The funeral service was held in the Highland MiB Church with Rev. A. T. Klassen and Rev. P. D. Doerksen officiating
