FRANK KRAHN

aria Krahn on August 28, 1918 in Russia. He came to Canada wit'h his parents in November, 1923 and f'O'I'lowed th em as they took up farming , firs't at I,ucky Lake, then Gilroy and fina'lly Glenbush, Sask . When they later moved to Abbots·ford, B.C., in 1937, he also fO'llowed them there. He came ,to see his need o·f the Saviour throu·gh the pos:itive influence of his parents and came to fll'll assurance of salvation M an early age. I'n August 18, 1940 he was baptized by Hev. A.D . Rempel and :accepted ,into the South Abbotsford MB Church. He loved ·the church and willingly accep'ted responsibilitiesinit. He was married on October 4, 1941 by Rev. Jacob Thiessen and wen~ on to a farm of his own. He lo·ved farming and pursued it as his occupation throughout the rest o·f his I·ife. H'e passed peace'fuJiy into th'e presence o·f his Lord on April 28 after 'Some sixteen months of i'llness . He leaves to mourn h·is pass'ing, his bere'aved wi'fe, Martha; ohildren, Len and Grace Krahn, Gerry and Maryanne KI'assen, Vic and Char'io'He Hiebert, and three grandchildren, all of the Abbots,ford area; three brot'he'rs, Henry and family of Fresno, Cali'f., Jack and family of North Vancouver, Dr. John and fami'ly of Singers Glen, Va .; four sisters, l'ina (Mrs. David) Friesen, Abbotsford, Agnes (Mrs. Jake) falk, Ol·ea·rbrook, Mary (Mrs. Les)Schmnidt Vancouver and Lydia (Mrs. Ernest) Dyck, 5-te.
