MRS. FRIEDA HUBERT

Frieda Hubert, daughter of Peter and Sara (Unruh) Wall was born in Fernheim , Paraguay on Octobcr 3, 1934. There she spent her childhood and school years . During evange,listic meetings held by Rev. C.N. Hiebert she gave her life to th e Lord and became a happy child of Go d. Frieda was bapt'ized at the age of 15 and became a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church. She was a blessing to many through her 'life, especially also in her work as a nurse. She studied nursing under Dr. Dollinger in Fern heim , Paragua ith her parents, brothers and sist ers. She helped to support the family during those first years in .canada and w as to th em a dear daughter and ray of sunshine . .on June 28, 1958 she was unite'd in marriage to Henry Hubert. Three sons, Henry John, Arthur Peter and Edwin Gerald, blessed this union. She enjoyed good health until four years ago when a brain tumor firs't became apparent. She underwent treatment and brain surgery on August 13, 1968. She knew the seriousness of the operation and was ready to meet the Lord . ·However, by the grace of ,God she s'lowly began to recover. ,In January, 1972 she began to worsen aga'in and on Apri'l 1, after a series of te5'ts which prov ed too much for her strength to withstand, she went to be with the Lord. She was 37. She leaves to mourn, her deeply grieving husband, 'Henry, and three sons, Henry, Arthur and Edwin, all of Niagaraon-the-Lake,Ont.; her mother, (Mrs.) Sara Wall; and six brothers and five sisters. She was predeceased by ,her father. The funeral was conducted from the Virgil (Ont.) Church on April 4 with Rev. J.G. Baer'g and Rev. George Wichert ministering.
