text of obituary:
MARGARET MAE ALBRECHT
Margaret Mae, infant daughter of Willard W. and Bertha (nee Stucky) Albrecht, was born January 8, 1952, and departed this life at 2:20 a.m. April 2, 1952, in the Bethel Deaconess hospital, Newton, Kans. She reached the age of two months and 24 days.
She leaves to mourn her early passing her bereaved parents, one sister Marilyn Joy, one brother Keith Eugene, her four grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Albrecht and Mr. and Mrs. Peter R. Stucky, two great grandmothers and a host of relatives. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Gerald Dean.
She seemed apparently healthy until the age of five weeks, when she contracted virus pneumonia, and later it was found that she suffered with a heart ailment. Even though the best medical and nursing care was secured, it was of no avail. Early Wednesday morning she peacefully went to sleep in Jesus. In the Great Beyond we shall understand why she was taken so early, when her life here had just begun.
Funeral services, with Rev. Peter J. Dyck officiating, were held on Thursday, April 3 at 1:00 p.m. at the home and at 2:00 pm. at the Eden Mennonite church. A men’s quartet composed of Richard, Orlin, Edwin and Harold Schrag furnished the music.
