MRS. PETER THIELMAN

Elizabeth Thie'lman of Herbert, Sask . passed quieHy 'into the presence of her Lord on January 1, at the age of 91 . She was ibornin Russia on :December 10, 1-880. She 'came to recognize her need of the Saviour in her youth and received Christ into her me. She was married to Peter Thielman ,in 1901 and to th'is union were born eight children. In April, 1922 her husband passed suddenly away, 'leaving her alone with the ,family responsibilities. Several years 'later, in 1925, tog ether with her 'children, she came to Canada and settled in the Herbert area . She was baptized and acc epted into the Mennonite Brethren ,church at Flowing Well and later moved 'into Herbert and joined the Mennonite -Brethren church there. Because of failing health she spent the ,last three years of her life in the Herbert Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband, one daughter and two sons, she is survive,d by three daughters, Mrs. P.J. (Elizabeth) Thiessen, Herbert, Mrs. H.H. (Kathryn) Andres, Herbert, Mrs . B. (He,len) Kroeker, Hepburn, ,Sask ., and two sons, Peter of Mission, B.C. and Henry o·f Herbert, as weH as many other friends and relatives. Funera l services were held at the Herbert Mennonite Brethren Church with Pastor Jake Pauls and Rev. J. J. Thiessen ministering.
