MRS. GEORGE KROEKER

Aganetha Kroeker, wife of Mr. Geor.ge C. Kroek er, deacon O'f the Central ('Winnipeg) Mennonite Bret'hren Church, was born on May 11 , 1887 in Hirschau, southern >Russia, where she spent her childhood. She found Chris~ as her personal Saviour in 1906 and was baptized and received into the Mennoni1e Bre;thren church. In 1917 she was married to George C. Kroeker in the village of Talma, Terek, where they lived until 1925. In that year the family emigrate'd to rGa·nHda Hnd took up farming near A'lexander and Justice, Manitoba. They continued ,to fa'rm until 1947 when they moved to Winnipeg. Mrs. Kro eker passed away in her 83rd year on November 12, after a short illness. The 'funeral was he.ld on November 15 in the Central Church with ·G.D. Huebert, H.H. J·anzen and John WaH ministering . A small group of women from the ladies' missianary circle served with songs. She is survived by her belaved husband; three ·daughters, Tina (Mrs. John) Huebert, Selma (Mrs. Ja,cob) Penner, Agnes, at home; and o,ne san, John; a'll of Winnipeg; 13 grandchildren and 11grea·t grandchildren. Mrs. Kraeker passed away in camplete peace with God. The church has lost one of her most regular members.
