HELEN JANE GOERZ

(Mrs.) Helen Jane Goerz, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Penner, passed away at the Kitchener, Waterloo Hospital on October 29 at the age of 53. She was the wife of Abram Goerz. She was actively involved in the work of the church and in her home congregation, the Kitchener Mennonite Brethren Church, she was a member of the Ladies Missionary Group. She is survived by a son, Donald, at Clearbrook, B.C., Gilbert, Margaret and Edith at home; her husband, Abram; three brothers, Victor of Oakville, Ont., Herbert of Waterloo and Rudy of Kitchener; two sisters, Ericka (Mrs . Henry Dick) of Fresno, Calif., and Anita (Mrs. Ray Carrol) of Hicksville, N.Y.; and many friends and relatives . The funeral was conducted from the Kitchener Mennonite Brethren Church, November 1. Rev. H.H. Janzen, through whom Mrs. Goerz found the Saviour, who baptized, married and ordained them, spoke the funeral message.
