— Henry G. Fast, 79, died suddenly Sunday evening at the farm home near Whitewater. He had complained of not feeling well, and passed away while Mrs. Fast was at the barn on an errand. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Emmaus Mennonite Church. Rev. L. R. Amstutz and Rev. H. J. Dyck in charge. Born at Halbstadt, Germany, Mr. Fast came to Beatrice, Neb. In 1893. He later moved to Idaho and Missouri, coming to the Whitewater community in 1924. Surviving are his second wife, the former Bertha Harder, four daughters and two brothers, one of whom still resides in Germany.
