JOHN BRAUN

John Braun was born in Alexandrowka, South Russia on May 2, 1893. He was baptized upon his confession of faith in 1914. In the same year he was joined in holy matrimony to Susanna Siemens. They emigrated to Canada in 1926 and took up residence in Herbert, Sask. The following year they moved to Yarrow, B.C. where they lived on a farm until their retirement a few years ago. It pleased the Lord to take him home on May 4. He leaves to mourn his wife, Susanna ; five sons, Harvey of Vancouver, Jim of Yarrow, Ben of Chilliwack, David of Richmond, B.C., and Fred of Clearwater, B.C.; three daughters, Miss Martha Braun of Vancouver, Mrs. Alvin (Mary) Stobbe of Langley, B.C., and Mrs. Gi lbert (Susan) Brandt of California; two brothers, David of Greendale, B,C. and Ben of Germany; and 22 grandchildren.
