Young Mother Called by Death

Hillsboro, Kan. — Funeral services were held at the Mennonite Brethren church here July 13 for Mrs. Melba Prieb Pike, 22, who died at mercy hospital here July 9 after giving birth to twin sons. Death was due to uremic poisoning.

Mrs. Pike attended the local schools and was employed for a time at the Back To the Bible Broadcast, Lincoln, Neb. Her husband, Rev. Ralph Pike, has been serving as pastor of the Oaklawn Community church in Wichita.

Surviving are her husband and the twins, Ralph Steven and Melvin Ray; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John J. Prieb; three sisters, Mrs. Menno Schroeder of Buhler, Mrs. Clarence Erlich of Wichita, Mrs. Kenneth Schroeder of Goessel; and one brother, Prof. Wesley Prieb of Hillsboro.
