Birth date: 1935

text of obituary:

. . .

— A fatal auto crash a short distance south of Newton on Highway 81 Saturday night claimed the life of Harold D. Wiebe, 20, son of Mrs. Tiena Wiebe of Whitewater. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Whitewater high school auditorium, Rev. Dan Dalke officiating. The investigating officer said Wiebe, traveling south, was thrown from his car as it turned end over end. He died a short time later. A companion, Earl C. Harms, remained in the car and was not seriously hurt. The Wiebe youth, who was employed by Murphree Appliance Co. in Newton, is survived by his mother, a brother Leo of Hickman Hills, Mo.; and sister, Mrs. Wallace Schmidt of Newton.
