— Mrs. Mary Schlosser, 69, former missionary to China and mother of Mrs. Erland Waltner of North Newton, passed away early Monday at the Bethel Deaconess hospital where she had been a patient for the past six weeks. A memorial service was held Wednesday afternoon at the Sister Frieda Memorial Chapel, after which the body was taken to Greenville, Ill. for final services at the Free Methodist church of that place on Friday. Mrs. Schlosser had made her home here with the Waltners for the past 18 months. In addition to Mrs. Waltner, she is survived by two other daughters, one of whom lives in Japan; a son who is a missionary in the Philippines; 10 grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.
