ABRAM A. DYCK
Abram A. 'Oyok Qf Vineland, Ont., went to' be with the LQrd on October 25. He had reached the age .of 73. Mr. 'D~ck was born Qn February 10, 1897, in B'lumengart, Russ'ia, to' Abram and Ma~ia Dyck. On August 29, 1921 he was married tohis wif·e Aganetna, and In the same year he and his wife r'eceived Christ as their Saviour and were baptized and received into the members·hip Qf the Mennomte Brethren Ohurch. ,In 1924 the Oycks came to Canada, setti'ing fi'rst in Winkler, ManitQba,and then relocating to' nort'hern Saskatchewan where they purchased 'land, bui,lt a home, and cleared and tilled the virgIn soil. After 10 years O'f tQIi! and 'blessings they moved to Ontario. 'In 1937 they s'etrtled on a farm near Campden and in 1956, due to Mr. Dyck's iiail'ing hea'lth, they retired to' Vineland. Mr. and Mrs. Dyck were ordained to the diacQnal min'istryin 1950 and thro·ugh their ministry became a blessing to many. Their home was always open; the'ir hospital'ity was well-known. Ear-l,ier lin me, 'for many years, Mr. Dyck served as Sunday s'ohQQI superintendent 'and ,in other a,rea'S of church wQrk as well. The luneral drew large attendance. Mr. Dyck is survived by his wHe, Ag~metha, of Vineland; two sons, Abe, of Campden, and Henry, Qf Smithville, .ont.; six daughters, Mrs. Abram (Hertha) FrQ'ese, Mrs. Werner (Katherine) Koop, Mrs. Gerhard (Martha) Wal'!, all of St. Catharines, Mrs. Ernest (Mary) Reimer, Beamsvifole, Ont., Mrs. GeQrge (Nettie) Fniesen, NQfwi'ch, Ont., and Mrs. Dani'el (oEls'ie) KI'as'sen, Tilsonburg, Ont.; two daughters-in-,Iaw and s.jx sons-in-Ilaw; as wef.! 'as four brothers and 37 grandchHdren. Rev. Jak'e Neufeld and Rev. H.P. Wiebe o'f VIneland served in the min1istry at the funeral s'ervice
