— Relatives at Whitewater received word Sunday from Morocco that Mrs. Pete Friesen had passed away suddenly Sunday morning. Mrs. Friesen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Regier of Whitewater, and her husband were serving as missionaries in Morocco.

— Memorial services for Mrs. Elsie Friesen, who died suddenly in French Morocco on Sunday, March 13, were held last Sunday afternoon at the Emmaus Mennonite church near Whitewater. Mrs. Friesen was buried in Morocco on March 14. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Regier of Whitewater, she had been serving as a missionary in the African country. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by three small children.
