YOUNG FARMER KILLED INSTANTLY IN HEAD-ON HIGHWAY CRASH

Goshen, Ind. — Relatives here were called to Waterford, Pa. due to a head-on highway collision near there which claimed the life of John Troyer, son-in-law of Orie Zook of Goshen, on Feb. 28.

Mrs. Troyer, the former Martha Zook, and their three-year-old daughter Sandra were seriously injured but are recovering. Another daughter, two months old, was not along when the crash occurred.

Funeral services for Mr. Troyer were held March 4 at the Meadville, Pa. Mennonite church. he was associated with his brother in a large potato growing project in the northwest Pennsylvania community, supplying potatoes to a potatoe [sic] chip concern.
