HELEN WIEBE

Mrs. Helen Wiebe 'Of Clearbreek, B.C., suddenly went te be with her Lerd en May 26. She was bern te Peter and Marie Hildebrand en Octeber 1, 1897 lin the village 'Of Steinfeld, Russ'ia. Here sheenjeyed her chilldheed and yeuth, privileged ,in having a Christian upbringing in her heme and in the church. In 1910, she accepted Christ as her persenal Savieur during the ministry 'Of miss'ienary F.J. Wiens. Three years later she was baptized ,in the Steinfeld Mennenite Brethren Church. On May 31, 1924 she was united with Isaak Wiebe in hely matrimeny, sharing jeys and serrews with him fer 46 years until her death. Six weeks a'fter their marriage, they came te Canada, settling in Herbert,Saskatchewan. The fellewing spring they meved te Kronsgart, Manitoba, where they enjeyed the feHewship 'Of the Christians fer 18 years. In 1946 they made their heme in British Celumbia, first in Yarrew fer a number 'Of years, and then in Vanceuver, where they spent 18 happy years. In 1967 they retired, meving te Clearbreek. On Sunday merning, May 24, Mrs. Wiebe suffered frem a heart atta,ck and was taken te the Abbetsferd hespital, where she died Tuesday merning, May 26. The Lerd blessed her with six children, twe sens and feur daughters. She is survived by her husband, Isaac Wiebe; twe daughters, Lena and her husband David Abrahams, and <Betty and her husband Henry Penner; 'One son Peter and his wife Elvira, all 'Of Vanceuver; six grandchildren; twe sisters, Mrs. ENzabeth Rempel 'Of Winnipeg and Mrs. Anna Dyck 'Of Steinbach, Maniteba; and twe brethers, Peter Hildebrand 'Of Winnipeg and Rev. Henry Hildebrand 'Of Bniercrest, Saskatchewan. The family dees net serrew as these that have ne hepe. Because they believe that Jesus died and res·e again, they are cenfident that Ged will awaken these whe sleep when Jesus cemes.
