— Funeral services were held at the Salem-Zion church, Freeman, S.D. for Susan Schrag, 83-year old pioneer immigrant from Russia of 1874, who passed away Feb. 3. During many years of failing health she suffered the gradual loss of both eyesight and hearing and for more than two years had been cared or at the Tieszen Old People’s Home, Marion, where she died. Survivors include two brothers, Peter Schrag, and Rev. John A. Schrag, both of Marion, and a sister, Mrs. Frances Gilbert of Pittsburg, Kansas.
